EVENT: Class Assembly on the Theme Service before Self

TOPIC: SERVICE BEFORE SELF

LEARNING OBJECTIVES :

To inspire students to adopt the principle of “Service Before Self” in their daily actions.

To cultivate gratitude and respect for individuals who serve the community, such as doctors, soldiers, teachers, and police officers.

An inspiring assembly on the theme “Service Before Self” was organised by Class 6C. The programme began with a thought-provoking quote by Albert Einstein: “Only a life lived for others is a life worthwhile.”

This was followed by an expressive presentation honouring doctors, soldiers, teachers, and policemen, showcasing their dedication and selfless contribution to society. Some boys dressed up as doctors and soldiers, while others wore special badges to honour teachers andpolicemen, adding colour and meaning to the presentation. The students also spoke about Mother Teresaand Mahatma Gandhi, emphasizing how these great personalities lived by the principle of serving others before themselves.

Towards the end, the boys shared their thoughtful views on how to practice this value in everyday life and become responsible and compassionate citizens. The assembly successfully conveyed the message that true happiness and fulfilment come from serving others with sincerity and humility.
