Christian Minority Educational Institution run by CCB in India which is registered under the Society Registration act of 1860.
St. John's High School is an all-boy, English Medium, unaided Catholic Minority Institution that falls under the category of Religious Minority Institutions as defined by the Constitution of India.††
As such, the norms of the minority institutions are applicable in the admission process. The school imparts education to the Christian community around and extends its service to the members of other communities to the extent possible.
In 2012-13, admission at the entry level was done by draw of lots.
E.W.S. (Economical Weaker Section)
Being a Christian minority educational institution and in imitation of Jesus, who made a preferential option for the poorest of the poor of society, the school makes a special effort to serve the poor and needy. In pursuance of this cause, St. John' s has independently been admitting students from the E.W.S/E.D.G (Economically Disadvantaged Group) since 1997. It currently has almost 300 such children already fully integrated into the mainstream. They are spread out from Prep. to Class 11.

Classroom and Laboratory Size: Classrooms and labs.are spacious and airy. The rooms are even larger than the minimum prescribed CBSE specifications.
Staff and Service Conditions: Salaries of the teachers follow the sixth pay commission. Salaries are paid through cheques and follow all the norms of PF, Gratuity and leave benefits. Regular Orientation/Seminars are conducted. System is in place to ensure protection for teachers as well as students.
