An outreach program was organised at St. John’s High School on 8 May 2026 in collaboration with students from Vatika School for hearing and speech impaired. The programme aimed to promote inclusion, understanding, and friendship among students.
The students of Vatika School conducted an interactive session in which they taught basic sign language to the students of St. John’s School. The participants enthusiastically learned common greetings, expressions, and simple communication signs. Various fun-filled and educational activities were also organised to encourage teamwork and confidence among students.
The programme created awareness about the importance of empathy, respect, and equal opportunities for everyone. It was a meaningful and enriching experience for all present. The school appreciated the efforts of the students and teachers of Vatika School for making the event informative and inspiring.
