2. Develop empathy and recognise the impact of small acts of kindness.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
Class 5 D conducted the morning assembly on the theme “Serve Humanity, Spread Hope”
with enthusiasm and meaningful participation. The programme began with a welcome,
followed by a prayer and hymn. An inspiring Ubuntu story highlighted the importance of
togetherness, empathy and caring for others. A creative mime on the Kindness Boomerang
beautifully portrayed how one act of kindness can inspire another, spreading positivity and
hope. The assembly continued with a news update and the Thought for the Day. It
concluded with the Principal’s thoughts, encouraging students to practise kindness and
make a positive difference through their everyday actions.
