THEME: Eco-Friendly Diwali

CLASS & SECTION: Class 2B

LEARNING OUTCOMES: The students will be able to:

1. understand the importance of celebrating an eco-friendly and safe Diwali.

2. follow discipline and safety rules in their daily life.

3. appreciate the true spirit of Diwali—victory of good over evil and spreading joy responsibly.

The morning assembly on Eco-Friendly Diwali was conducted by the students of Class 2 B. The

program began with a prayer, followed by an explanation about celebrating Diwali in an environment

friendly way.

Students presented a meaningful skit showing the harmful effects of firecrackers and the joy of

celebrating with diyas, candles and decorations made from eco-friendly materials. A Hindi poem

beautifully conveyed the message of a pollution-free celebration.

All students took a pledge to protect nature and promote green Diwali practices. An English poem

on “A Green Diwali” added charm to the assembly. The thought for the day, along with discipline and

safety rules, reminded students of responsible behavior.

The assembly concluded with valuable words by the Principal, who appreciated the efforts and

encouraged everyone to celebrate Diwali with care, love, and respect for nature.
