reduction. Identify the four phases of disaster management: Prevention, Preparedness,
Response and Recovery. Implement safety measures, evacuation procedures and mock
drills effectively in school.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
A Disaster Management Seminar was conducted for the teachers of
St. John's High School. The session focused on natural hazards, disaster risk reduction, first
responders, evacuation procedures and the four phases of disaster management. Interactive
discussions and activities highlighted the importance of preparedness and regular mock
drills in ensuring school safety.
